All the places of Assam is well connected by roads to other parts of the state as well to the other parts of the country. National Highway 36, 37 and 52 runs right through the heart of Assam. National Highway 31(C), 44 and 54 also links Assam to the other parts of the state and its neighbouring areas. The East-West corridor also runs through the state upto Silchar.
