Assam is very well connected with all the major cities of India by
air. The Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport of
Guwahati is the main hub of all the airport traffic of Assam. There is
an international flight from Guwahati to Bangkok and vice versa which
operates once in a week. The goverment plans to start more
international flights from Guwahati in the comming years.
